Itinerary

We depart every day, except on public holidays in Morocco.

(The schedule may be subject to changes in case of ferry delays).

09:00 – Meeting at the Tarifa Maritime Station.

10:00 – Ferry departure.

11:00 – Departure by private car to Asilah.

You will travel with a driver and a private car to the city of Asilah, a journey of just under 1 hour. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of the medina.

Enjoy the tranquility of the place and take a leisurely stroll. Asilah is very photogenic—make the most of the sunset to take photos.

Recommended restaurants:

Casa Pepe – Run by Spaniards living in Morocco, it offers the best selection of seafood and fish at very reasonable prices.

Casa Garcia – Also run by Spaniards in Morocco, this restaurant serves seafood, fish, and traditional Moroccan cuisine.

Take the opportunity to do some shopping. There is a wide variety of products available, such as:

• Lamps, tapestries, tea sets, leather goods, and silverware.
• Tea, spices, nuts, and dates sold by weight.

Pick-up: The driver will pick you up at the same place where you were dropped off in the morning.

18:00 – Departure from Asilah.

19:00 – Arrival at the port.

20:00 – Ferry departure.

21:00 – Arrival in Tarifa.

Meeting point

The meeting point is the INFORMATION DESK at the Tarifa Maritime Station.

Please arrive 1 hour before departure and bring your payment receipt to show it.

Warranty

Guarantee in case of ferry cancellation:

If the ferry is canceled due to technical issues, the company offers the option to reschedule on the next available ferry, with the possibility of a later return to compensate for lost time, whenever possible.

The customer may also choose a new date or receive a full refund.

Cancellations and date changes:

The customer can change the excursion date free of charge up until the day before the reservation, with the option to reschedule for the following year.

If the customer decides to cancel at least 48 hours before departure, 95% of the total amount paid will be refunded.

If the excursion is canceled due to adverse weather conditions, the customer may choose a new date or receive a full refund.

Characteristics of the boat

Fast ferries: The boat trip takes only 35 minutes. We work with both ferry companies operating at the Port of Tarifa.

The ferries have a café, restrooms, and duty-free shops on board.

Activity suitable for

• Young children: YES.
• Babies with cart: YES. But you must notify us. Only folding chairs.
• Pregnant: YES. But you must confirm with your doctor. Tell the ferry company as well.
• Old people: YES.
• People with reduced mobility: YES. Adapting the visit.
• People in wheelchairs: YES. Only folding chairs and adapting the visit.

Warnings

The client must present their documentation at the port. A valid passport is required.
Some countries require a visa; it is the client's responsibility to check the entry requirements according to their nationality.

All clients must complete a form provided at the port and present it along with their documentation to the Moroccan police officer on board the boat.

(During peak season, July and August, there may be long queues).

Our recommendations:

The currency in Morocco is the dirham, but euros are also accepted. Bring €1 coins and small bills (€5, €10, €20) to facilitate purchases. Currency exchange is not recommended as commissions apply.

If you have any food allergies, inform the restaurant staff, and they will offer a simple alternative. If you wish, you can bring a backpack with food and drinks (it is a long day).

We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, a jacket, comfortable footwear, and motion sickness medication (e.g., Biodramina).

If you need to park your car, we recommend arriving 1 hour and 30 minutes before departure. We can provide information about parking areas.

Bring a pen to complete the form on the boat.

Put your phone on airplane mode to avoid additional charges (€20).
