What does it consist of?

Enjoy a cultural experience in the north of Morocco, immersing yourself in its unique culture and gastronomy.

Visit the city of Tangier and discover its charms, including the souk, with its distinctive aroma of spices and its vibrant variety of materials.

Explore the northern coast, visit the Caves of Hercules, and experience an authentic Berber tradition by riding a camel.

The guide will provide information about Arab culture, the history of Tangier, and interesting facts.

The guide speaks both Spanish and English, and you can ask any questions of interest.

Itinerary

We operate every day, except on public holidays in Morocco.

(The schedule may change in case of ferry delays).

09:00 h – Meeting at the Port of Tarifa. We will assist you with boarding and completing the border control form.

10:00 h – Ferry departure.

Upon arrival in Tangier, our guide will welcome you, and we will begin a bus tour around the city.

We will visit Cape Spartel, where you can admire the stunning meeting point of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

We will stop at the Caves of Hercules, where we will explore one of the caves. You will also have the option to visit another cave for an additional cost of 8 euros.

Next, we will head to the camel area, where you can take photos and, for an additional cost of only 2 euros, enjoy a short camel ride.

Then, we will explore Tangier’s old town and enjoy lunch at a traditional Moroccan restaurant with live music. Lunch is included, but drinks are not. Please note that alcohol is not served; only water, soft drinks, and fresh juices are available.

Typical tasting menu:

• Harira (soup)
• Chicken couscous
• Lamb or chicken skewers
• Tea with pastries

After lunch, we will continue our guided tour of the city, exploring iconic places such as the Mendoubia Gardens, the Medina, the Kasbah, the Souk, the Vegetable Market, and the Synagogue.

At the end of the tour, you will have free time in the Souk before going to the hotel.

(If the ferry is delayed in the morning, the free time will be reduced).

DAY 2

Breakfast included at the hotel

Free time until the driver picks you up. The hotel is close to the seafront promenade and Tangier beach. There is a marina with restaurants along the promenade. You can also walk to the Petit Socco, which you visited the previous day, for more shopping.

16:00 h - Driver picks you up at the hotel

17:00 h – Arrival at the Port of Tangier and boarding closure.

18:00 h – Ferry departure.

19:00 h – Arrival in Tarifa and departure from the port.

Meeting point

The meeting point is the INFORMATION DESK at the Tarifa Maritime Station.

Please arrive 1 hour before departure and bring your payment receipt to show upon arrival.

Warranty

Guarantee in Case of Ferry Cancellation:

If the ferry is canceled due to technical issues, the company offers the option to reschedule for the next available ferry.



Cancellations and Date Changes:

Up to 7 days before the departure date, changing the date is free of charge.

If the customer cancels at least 7 days before the departure date, they will be refunded 95% of the total amount paid.

From 6 days before departure, if the customer cancels, the cost of the hotel will be deducted from the refund offered.

The latest time to cancel is 48 hours before departure. If the cancellation is made within this time frame, it will not be possible to receive a refund.

Characteristics of the boat

Fast Ferries: The boat journey takes only 35 minutes. We work with both ferry companies operating at the Port of Tarifa.

The ferries are equipped with a cafeteria, restrooms, and duty-free shops on board.

Activity suitable for

• Young children: YES.
• Babies with cart: YES. But you must notify us.
• Pregnant: YES. But you must confirm with your doctor. Tell the ferry company as well.
• Old people: YES.
• People with reduced mobility: NO. Only with private guide
• People in wheelchairs: NO. Only with private guide.

Warnings

The customer must present their documentation at the port. A valid passport is required.

Some countries require a visa; it is the customer’s responsibility to check the entry conditions based on their nationality.

All customers must complete a form provided at the port and show it along with their documentation to the Moroccan police aboard the ferry.

(During high season, July and August, there may be long queues).

Our recommendations:

The currency in Morocco is the dirham, but euros are also accepted. Bring 1€ coins and small bills (5€, 10€, 20€) to make purchases easier. It is not recommended to exchange currency, as commission fees are charged.

If you have any food allergies, inform the restaurant waiter and they will offer a simple alternative. If you wish, you can bring a backpack with food and drink (it's a long day).

We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, a jacket, comfortable footwear, and medication for motion sickness (e.g. Biodramina).

If you need to park your car, we recommend arriving 1 hour and 30 minutes before departure. We can provide information about parking areas.

Bring a pen to complete the form on the ferry.

Put your phone on airplane mode to avoid additional charges (20€).
